BIM - Building Information Modeling

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a new development in project engineering. It allows the management of building data during the buildings useful life starting with the original generation of that data that occurs in the design of the building. This generation of real time data facilitates the use of controlled shop fabrication to provide building owners cost effective construction of facilities.
