Overview

August Winter & Sons, Inc was chosen as the Plumbing & HVAC Design Build contractor for the 473,000 square foot building. The building houses office space, manufacturing space, shipping, receiving and warehouse space. Plexus requested an HVAC System that provided constant temperature and humidity control for the production area for critical components they manufactured.

With a large amount of mechanical equipment on this project, we needed to finish as much pre-work as possible before the equipment was shipped to the site. Using Building Information Modeling (BIM) and participating in clash detection meetings August Winter was able to prefabricate ductwork, plumbing, air piping and process piping for field installation.
