Overview

August Winter was contracted to upgrade eight lift stations, replace clarifier drives, and treatment plant effluent pumps while bypassing existing facilities. Bypass pumping was not only needed for each lift station but was needed to bypass the city’s water flow to the treatment plant into a splitter box to replace influent pumps. Project included many logistical hurdles, including confined spaces, special safety procedures, and congested project sites with accelerated schedules.
