August Winter & Sons was the mechanical for the below grade mechanical systems of the new coal-fired steam turbine power generating plant in Weston, Wisconsin. The project included over 65,000 linear feet of various utility piping plus 2,000 linear feet of 96" diameter pre-stressed concrete pipe for the cooling tower. This piping was installed at a record pace over a 9-month period, including during sub-zero winter months.
