Overview

August Winter provided and installed a natural gas system with an operating pressure of 5,280 psi. This project required certified welders to install various types of above and below grade pipes of various materials and welding practices. In addition, the project site was very small and required a quick turnaround to completion. The majority of the piping was prefabricated in house to minimize installation time and limit on site personnel to help with an already congested site.

The gas system needed to be pressure tested at 6,000 psi, so thorough inspection and quality control prior to testing is required. The customer was highly satisfied with the construction process, organization of documents, and the ability to make adjustments on site in a timely manner.
