August Winter and Son’s Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) group believes the key to a successful project is having the right people involved at the right time. Through the many types of projects our HVAC department has completed, we’ve learned that collaboration prior to and throughout construction is vital to ensuring a project exceeds a customer’s expectations and stays within budget.
Prior to design, our HVAC team works closely with the owner, architect, and construction managers to understand scope and goals of the project. From there we look at all solutions to come up with a design that meets all of an owner’s objectives, with ultimate respect and acknowledgement of a client’s financial investment. Once an owner understands all aspects of an August Winter HVAC design and construction plan, we begin planning efforts with the general contractor, trade partners, designers, and construction personnel to ensure the safest and most cost-effective installation processes will be utilized.
During construction, our HVAC group uses productive management techniques to ensure engineering, field mechanics, control and service technicians collaborate effectively to achieve a successful installation. Once installation is complete, HVAC commissioning and start up members ensure that the design works effectively and the owner’s maintenance team is confident using the new system.
