Overview

The college needed an HVAC system that was quiet and kept the theater space properly heated and cooled during productions. August Winter removed the existing HVAC system that supplied conditioned air to the theatre and upgraded to a new custom air handler mounted on the roof of the building. The new air handler required chilled water piping, low pressure steam piping and condensate piping. The project also had build up VAV boxes that required hot water piping.

The custom air handler had a 10 week lead time for fabrication. With that lead time, August Winter & Sons needed to perform as much pre-work as possible before the unit arrived on site. The project met HVAC estimate and completed on time. The customer was extremely happy with finished product.
